When you submit the free guide request form on this site, we collect:

• Email address (required) — used to deliver the free guide and send occasional updates
• First name (optional) — used to personalize emails
• IP address and device/browser information — collected automatically by our email platform (Mautic) as part of form processing

We do not collect payment information. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

How We Use It

Information you provide is used to:

• Deliver the requested free guide to your inbox

Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services:

• Mautic (self-hosted email automation) — processes your name and email address when you submit the form. Mautic is hosted on infrastructure we control; your data is not shared with Mautic Inc. or third parties.

• Amazon — this site contains links to Amazon product pages. Clicking those links takes you to Amazon, where Amazon's own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for Amazon's data practices.

Browser Storage

This site uses your browser's localStorage to record which Amazon links you click (e.g., "Buy Now" or "Author Page"), along with the time of the click. This information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Website Analytics

We run simple, first-party analytics that we built and host ourselves — not a third-party service. It records the page you visited, the referring site (if any), and your approximate country (derived from your network location, never your exact address), so we can see which pages get read and roughly where visitors come from. It does not use cookies, does not use a persistent visitor ID, and cannot be used to identify or track you individually or across other websites. This data is never shared with or sold to advertisers.

Email and CAN-SPAM Compliance

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. We will honor all unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. Our mailing address is included in every commercial email as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.
